About:
Brian Eckert received his undergraduate degree in studio music from the University of Miami. An accomplished bass player and singer, Brian has toured with many major country artists including Josh Turner, John Berry and John Michael Montgomery. Prior to moving to Nashville, Brian was owner and entertainment director for one of the largest country nightclubs in the southeastern United States (Desperado’s), and was responsible for bringing in monthly national concert acts. Currently the owner of Verge Recording, Brian enjoys producing, writing and working with emerging artists. Brian is a partner at Verge Management with added specialties in studio music, production, recording and live performance.
Nancy Eckert is an entertainment and corporate attorney with more than 15 years of legal experience. She received her Juris Doctor degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Nova Southeastern University, and her undergraduate degree in communication (public relations/marketing) from the University of Miami. In addition to representing award winning artists and songwriters, her company, Verge Legal, focuses on consulting with start-up entertainment companies and serving as out-sourced legal and business affairs for independent record labels, entertainment companies and music publishers. Nancy is a partner at Verge Management with specialties in entertainment and business law, media training, and public relations.
Niki Breazeale has more than a decade of experience in the music and entertainment industry. After attending the University of Oklahoma where she studied advertising and marketing, she worked in television production in Los Angeles before she segued to her true passion, music. Having worked in marketing for major label groups such as Warner Bros, EMI Music Group and Universal Music Group, she has a vast knowledge of the inner workings of the business and its many layers. Niki also spent many years working along side industry heavy weights such as Phil Quartararo, David Foster, John Beug and Jeff Ayeroff, where she gained invaluable knowledge and experience. Niki is an associate at Verge Management with specialties in artist development, artist management, music publishing, marketing and publicity for television, radio and print.
